Corporate Climate Savers
Do you want to know what products to endorse or avoid? Do you want to buy shares of Green corporations or sell those of major contributors to climate change? Good for you! You are on the right page.
So buy shares in the below green movers. And as for ExxonMobil..... sell, sell, sell!
WWF Climate Savers
Businesses and corporations round the world are already leading their governments with voluntary green initiatives that can help reduce greenhouse gases whilst saving them money.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have set up a Climate Savers Programme whereby they work with companies to reduce emissions. These cutting-edge partnerships deliver new and additional reductions in CO2 emissions placing them at the forefront in leading to measurable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
By 2010, existing Climate Savers companies will reduce their carbon dioxide pollution by over ten million tons each year, the equivalent of taking 2 million cars off the road. By increasing efficiency, Climate Savers companies are saving hundreds of millions of dollars, proving again that protecting the environment makes good business sense.

Look no further for the award category for you (or a company you'd like to recommend): Environmental Awards and Green Awards (UK) have the links.
European Commission's Environment Directorate-General (DG) holds awards every two years:
European Business Awards for the Environment. These are the Oscars of environmental awards in Europe, but to qualify, you should go through a feeder scheme of DEFRA!
One of these feeder schemes is VIBES (Vision of Business for the Environment Scotland) which holds annual competitions for environmental companies in Scotland for small, medium and large business categories. Well done to ScottishPower Renewables, the 2006 Winner.
Another feeder scheme is The Green Apple Awards conferred in many business categories.
The Financial Times and Citi Private Bank Environmental Awards started in 2007 for both large enterprises and SMEs.
